The Career Empowerment Academy offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take career training courses at HOC. The classes serve as a pathway to several high demand careers. The academy offers various courses at HOC throughout the year, including Welding, Construction, Automotive Technology, and Cybersecurity. Check with your high school counselor for upcoming opportunities!

The LAUSD Personnel Commission and the Division of Adult and Career Education will host its annual job fair at the Harbor Occupational Center (740 N. Pacific Ave.) on June 16th, from 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM. To register, scan the QR code on the flyer.

These fairs offer a chance to explore various career paths within LAUSD, including roles in education, administrative support, and more.

Looking for a job, internship, or just curious about career options? Join us for the Connect LA - Job Fair on April 10th at Harbor Occupational Center!

Cultural festivals are a vibrant way to bring communities together, honoring traditions, customs, and heritage from around the world. Cultural festivals offer a unique opportunity to experience the rich diversity of global cultures through music, dance, art, food, and storytelling.

The Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3) is a nationally recognized, industry-approved pre-apprenticeship program designed to prepare students for careers in the skilled trades. Come in to meet a counselor today!

Industry professionals with years of real-world, on-the-job experience prepare CTE students for entry-level employment, career advancement, and industry certification. The CTE program serves adults and concurrently enrolled high school students. Individuals with disabilities and special needs are encouraged to participate.

The HOC Buildings and Grounds Class now enrolling students. B&G workers maintain assigned areas of buildings and grounds in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition.

The Diesel Technology program will prepare students to work as service technicians in a dealer service departments, diesel engine repair facilities and medium/heavy truck repair facilities.
